So come on you Blue and Blacks!
So, Come on you Blue and Blacks!
Dear Reader, Happy St. David’s Day, and, happy Blue and Blacks day! By now you will have heard the news that ‘The Blues’ are no more, and we are now the proud supporters of ‘Cardiff Rugby!’ This is a time of pride, a chance to embrace and to celebrate a strength through unity bolstered by a rich heritage, steeped in tradition and history running back all the way to 1876. This evolution will usher in a future filled with passion and collaboration as we charge forward as one, solidifying our core values and goals from our stronghold at the Cardiff Arms Park. We at The Cardiff Blues Brothers look forward to what this will bring to the club and our future. We strive to champion inclusion and look forward to embracing members from all over the region, of all age groups, and to work closely with Cardiff Rugby to enhance and promote this. We eagerly anticipate the day when we can shuffle into the ground again, belting out our chorus and sending out that steady beat of our hearts, the beloved drum! What does this mean for us as a supporters’ society? Well, we will be keeping our name and branding as it is, and we will continue to work with charities and organisations to tackle issues in our communities across the region. We have always been an open and accepting society, so nothing has changed. We believe this will only make our support for Cardiff stronger and more unified. It doesn’t matter where you are from, or how you identify, you are welcome. You are welcome at Cardiff Arms Park, and you are welcome to become one of our members. The team on the pitch has and always will be the aim of our support, the name just goes into our songs. So, from all at the Cardiff Blues Brothers, best wishes, stay safe, and we will see you in the Cardiff Arms Park soon!
